Heaven Sent

This tutorial is my own creation any resemblance to any other tutorial is purely coincidental, my tutorials are for personal use only, you must have a working knowledge of psp all my tags are created using Paint shop pro 8

Supplies needed
scrap kit  called Masquerade by the lovely girls over at Gimpastics
you can grab it here
Font of choice I used Scriptina
Tube of choice, Im using the beautiful work of Barbara Jensen
please do not use without the purchase of a license
Here



Let's Begin
Open a 650x600 blank canvas

Open frame 5 from the kit
copy and paste as new layer
grab your magic wand, tolerance and feather both set on 0
click inside your frame
go to selections-modify-expand
and expand by 5
add a new raster layer
open paper 1 from the kit and copy and paste into selection
select none and move this layer below the frame layer

Open your tube, resize if needed
go to image-greyscale
copy your tube
with the frame layer active
click inside the frame with your magic wand again
copy your tube place to your liking
go to selections-invert and hit delete on your keyboard
select none and move below your frame layer
drop shadow
-1, -1, 80, 10.00

now close off your background layer and merge visible


Duplicate your frame layer twice so that you have a total of 3
on the bottom frame layer go to
image-rotate-free rotate
rotate 15 right
make middle frame layer active and rotate
15 left
again close off background layer and merge visible\
drop shadow your frame layer

Open frame 6 from the kit
copy and paste as new layer
place behind your merged frame layer and drop shadow

Open your tube
undo the grayscale and copy and paste as new layer
place to your liking and drop shadow

Open the harp from the kit
resize 70 percent
copy and paste as new layer place on left side of tag
and drop shadow

Open the violin from the kit
resize 70 percent
copy and paste as new layer and drop shadow

Open beads 1 from the kit
resize 45 percent
go to adjust-sharpness-sharpen
copy and paste as new layer
place at top of your frame

Open bow from the kit
resize 30 percent and sharpen
copy and paste as new layer on left side of tag over the beads
duplicate and mirror
and drop shadow them both

Open the hearts from the kit
resize 20 percent and sharpen
copy and paste as new layer in middle of beads
and drop shadow

Open music stand from the kit
resize 80 percent
copy and paste as new layer, place and drop shadow

Open flower 2 from the kit
resize 50 percent
copy and paste as new layer place and drop shadow
duplicate the flower and resize the duplicate 70 percent
duplicate this one and resize 70 percent
arrange to your liking

Open heart box from kit
resize 70 percent
copy and paste as new layer and drop shadow

Open beads 2 from the kit
resize 70 percent
copy and paste as new layer

choose a font and add your text
add artist copyright and save
