Vintage Love

Supplies Needed
Ftu Scrapkit called Vintage Valentine

Tube of choice, I am using the beautiful work of Keith Garvey
You can purchase his work Here
Font of choice, I used a paid font called Good Vibrations

Open a 650x650 blank canvas

open frame 2 from the kit
copy and paste as new layer
grab your magic wand, tolerence and feather both 0
click inside your frame and expand by 4
add new layer and move below the frame layer
open paper 3 from the kit
copy and paste into selection and select none

open frame 1 from the kit
copy and paste as new layer
rotate 8 left and move up slightly
grab your magic wand again
click inside the frame and expand by 4
add new layer and move below frame 1 layer
open paper 4, copy and paste into selection
keep selected

open your tube of choice, resize if needed
copy and paste as new layer as your top layer
duplicate your tube layer and move duplicate below
frame 1 layer, go to selections-invert
and hit delete on your keyboard, select none
make top tube layer active
grab your eraser tool and erase the bottom of your tube
so it looks as if she is coming out the frame
give both tubes a drop shadow
-2,-4, 70, 10.00

open leaves from the kit
rotate 90 left
copy and paste as new layer
place on left side of tag, below your top tube layer

open books from the kit
copy and paste as new layer
resize 75 percent and sharpen
place on left side of tag and drop shadow

open clock from the kit
copy and paste as new layer
resize 70 percent and sharpen
place on right side of tag and drop shadow

open cloth flower 1 from the kit
copy and paste as new layer
resize 50 percent and sharpen
place next to books and drop shadow
duplicate and move over to right side

open cloth flower 2 from the kit
copy and paste as new layer
resize 40 percent and sharpen
place in the middle of the other 2 flowers
and drop shadow

open butterfly flair from the kit
copy and paste as new layer
resize 55 percent and sharpen
place below flower layers
and drop shadow

open leaf from the kit
copy and paste as new layer
resize 70 percent and sharpen
place on right side of tag
and drop shadow

open trinket from the kit
copy and paste as new layer
resize 40 percent and sharpen
place on right side of tag
and drop shadow, duplicate
move down slightly

Open tag from the kit
copy and paste as new layer
resize 90 percent and sharpen
rotate 8 left
place on right side of tag and drop shadow

open locket from the kit
copy and paste as new layer
resize 25 percent and sharpen
place on top of tag and drop shadow

Make your background layer active
add a new raster layer
go to selections, select all
open paper 5 from the kit
copy and paste into selection and select none
open your mask
go to layers, new mask layer-from image
find mask in drop down box and click ok
go to layers-merge-merge group
and resize mask 80 percent
make your background layer active again
add new layer and select all
open paper 1 copy and paste into selection
select none
apply the mask again'
merge group and resize 90 percent

add your name in a font of choice
add your artist copyright
resize and save
