A Little Bit Country

This tutorial is my own creation any resemblance to any other tutorial is purely coincidental, my tutorials are for personal use only, you must have a working knowledge of psp and animation shop. please refer to my tag for placement of elements
 
Supplies needed
Scrap kit is a ptu kit called Cotton Eyed Country by Kissing Kate
you can purchase the kit at Pics For Design Here
Animation is by Simone and you can download from her site Here
My grass template Here
Mask is by Vix we are using big mask 05
you can grab this from her site Here
Font used is called Western Normal Here
Tube of choice I am using the work of Amy Matthews
you can purchase her work from Creative Design Outlet Here
Please do not use without a license to do so
 
open a 800x600 canvas
 
open element 58 from the kit
(window)
resize 60 percent and sharpen
copy and paste as new layer, place in center of canvas
grab your selection tool and draw a selection around the window
like so
add a new raster layer and move below the window layer
open paper 7 from the kit
copy and paste into selection and select none
 
open my grass template
copy and paste as new layer above background layer
move toward bottom of your canvas
 
open your tube of choice
resize if needed
copy and paste as new layer and place to your liking
give it a drop shadow
-2.-4.70, 10.00
 
open element 8 from the kit
(fence)
resize 50 percent and sharpen
copy and paste as new layer
place on left side of tag, duplicate and mirror
 
open element 4 from the kit
(lantern)
resize 40 percent and sharpen
copy and paste as new layer
place on left side of window, duplicate and mirror
add same drop shadow
 
open element 65 from the kit
(horse)
resize 50 percent and sharpen
copy and paste as new layer and place on left side of tag
 
open element 54 from the kit
(horse)
resize 50 percent and sharpen
copy and paste as new layer
place on right side of tag and drop shadow
 
Make your background layer active
add a new raster layer
selections-select all
open paper 12 from the kit
copy and paste into selection and select none
open Vix big mask 05
go to layers-new mask layer-from image
find mask in drop down box and click ok
go to layers-merge-merge group
resize mask 70 percent
move up and over to left side of tag
duplicate and mirror
 
open element 53 from the kit
(wheel)
image-mirror
resize 40 percent and sharpen
copy and paste as new layer, place and drop shadow
 
open element 55 from the kit
(cart)
resize 60 percent and sharpen
copy and paste as new layer, place and drop shadow
 
open element 21 from the kit
(barrel)
resize 50 percent and sharpen
copy and paste as new layer, place and drop shadow
 
open element 11 from the kit
(rope)
resize 30 percent and sharpen
copy and paste as new layer, place and drop shadow
 
open element 31 from the kit
(spur)
resize 40 percent and sharpen
copy and paste as new layer,place and drop shadow
 
open element 35 from the kit
(flower)
resize 30 percent and sharpen
place behind spur on left side
duplicate and resize 70 percent
move to right of spur and duplicate again
 
open element 61 from the kit
(vine)
copy and paste as new layer
place behind your tube layer
place to your liking
 
open element 60 from the it
(bird)
resize 20 percent and sharpen
copy and paste as new layer
place and drop shadow
 
open your font and add the words
"cowgirls do it better"
also add your name and artist copyright
 
Now to add the animated butterflies
first while still in psp
go to edit-copy merged
in animation shop, paste as new animation
 
first lets resize our tag
go to animation-resize animation
set  width on 550 and height 413
click ok
 
open the animated butterflies
this has 16 frames so our tag needs 16 frames as well
click on your tag hold down ctlr and hit the letter L on your keyboard
a total of 15 times to give our tag 16 frames as well
 
now on the animated butterflies, click on the first frame
go to edit-select all
and edit-copy
 
click on your tag and click on first frame
go to edit-select all
edit-paste into selected frames
place butterflies to your liking
now view your animation
and save as a gif
